Student Guild

The Students' Guild is the body of all fully registered students of the University. It is led by a President, a Vice-President, an Executive and a Students' Parliament.

The Guild seeks to promote the general welfare of students, encourage them to fully participate in the University life and endeavours to further the educational aims of University for the benefit of all.

Every student of the University pays a subscription fee to the Students' Guild decided by the Guild from time to time.

The benefits include the right to vote, eligibility to Guild cabinet offices. Other functions include representing the students body on the University Council, organising events like graduations, freshers' and leavers' balls as well as cultural festivals, and financing students' projects, clubs and societies.
