School of Business Administration

The School of Business Administration (SBA) is one of the leaders of Business Education in Uganda. Its philosophy is built on producing graduates who are principled; disciplined; respectable; knowledgeable and transparent.

The School produces graduates in the areas of: Information Technology; Computer Science, Marketing, Accounting; Professional accounting studies; Human resource management; Taxation management, Business law; Office management and Secretarial Studies, Procurement and logistics Management, etc.

To enhance learning and teaching effectiveness, the school has, over the years, put emphasis on practical oriented learning through research and publication. The school conducts research that addresses local and international needs through research projects.

We encourage our students to get an industrial attachment. This helps them gain practical experience and exposure. In the end, they are supposed to come up with a business project that relates to their area of specialisation.

In addition, graduate students undertake research that aims at solving national problems relevant to Uganda’s economic development. All this is done under appropriate supervision.
