Meeting Schedule
Meetings:
- The association has an A.G.M, which is held once a year at such a date, day, time, and place, as the C.E.C shall decide.
- The C.E.C shall in addition to the A.G.M hold a Re-Union Meeting once a year at such a time and place, as the C.E.C shall decide.
- The main purpose of the re-union is to afford an opportunity for members of the association to know each other more and to share personal experiences.
- The C.E.C shall determine the business of the re-union meeting that will best promote the herein stated purpose.
Conducting of Meetings:
- The President shall preside over the A.G.M, and the C.E.C meetings.
- In his/her absence, the vice-president shall take the chair, and if both are absent, the members present shall elect a chairperson from among their number to preside at the meeting.
- In the event of a stalemate, the chairperson has a deciding vote.
- The declaration of the chairperson as to whether a motion is carried or lost is final.
Notices:
- The Hon. Secretary shall give notice of the A.G.M of not less than a month.
- Two (2) weeks’ notice shall suffice in the case of the special general meeting.
Notices shall specify the time and agenda.
