Foreword by the Vice Chancellor

Nkumba University is one of the few private chartered universities in Uganda. It achieved this coveted status on 16th February 2007 based on its robust and attractive programmes.

The University is secular in outlook with an open access policy of admitting students without discrimination on account of religion, race, or ethnicity.

As vice-chancellor, I am proud of providing academic leadership to a vibrant institution that is making its mark in providing valuable academic space for the development of students and staff.

At Nkumba University we cherish the four values of Competence, Confidence, Creativity and Character among our students and staff. We also espouse cultivation of entrepreneurship in our programmes.
